Assistant House Manager- 2nd Shift

Chileda's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive and behavior challenges. Chileda's goal is to help students increase their appropriate social behaviors and develop independent living skills, through an enriched learning environment and individualized behavior programming. We are now accepting applications for an Assistant House Manager in various houses. Summary:Chileda's campus consists of four homes where students live and learn to become more independent in all facets of life. House Managers manage and supervise their assigned house to ensure meaningful and viable programming is being implemented which includes recreational activities, skill development on treatment and IEP plans, including proper implementation of all communication, behavioral and domestic training. Assistant House Managers assist the House Manager in all areas of managing their assigned home.Status Info:Full time position that comes with Chileda's generous benefits plan. Hours are primarily on 2nd shift.Skills: Ability to lead a diverse group of employees, as well as the ability to give feedback, guidance and make decisions, as well as training others, is required.Job Duties Include:

• In absence of the House Manger, ensure the house is set up and staff are assigned to students.
• Training DSPs on behavior programs as well as policies and procedures.
• Positively promote and implement changes introduced by Residential Team and Core Teams.
• All assigned duties of Direct Support Professionals.
  
  

Education Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field is preferred, but seeking at least one year supervisory experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.Application Instructions: Please apply online at chileda.org through our employment page.Chileda is an EOE.
