The Accounting Assistant plays a key role in the daily functions of the accounting department. This individual works in a support role to other members of the accounting department, as well as team members from other departments. This person will provide excellent customer service by managing incoming calls, emails and chats to accounting and providing timely and quality responses back to the customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Field incoming calls for accounting department
Monitor and respond to accounting emails
Complete HubSpot tasks from customer success team, sales team and support team
Assist with Accounts Receivable collections
Work with other departments regarding accounting tasks, questions and projects
Monitor transaction usage for clients and link companies to products when necessary
Record all credits and refunds
Complete billing profile assignment sheets with corresponding sales reps
Work with support team to identify any inconsistencies in the system
Manage failed and blocked payments from customers
Assign and update sales reps in system
Accounting projects as they arise
