Hello fellow Secret Squirrels. If you have a clearance and are currently looking for a job that requires a clearance but don't feel safe applying via LinkedIn or via job boards like Indeed, then I highly recommend creating a free account with clearancejobs (.com). ClearanceJobs is where I hunt for the majority of my qualified secret and top secret cleared candidates. When recruiters reach out to you via ClearanceJobs, know that all of the employers have been vetted and they are all looking for cleared personnel. This platform is great because YOU can see which companies are hiring for cleared personnel and you can message recruiters as well with any questions you may have. Make sure to fully optimize your profile and upload a current resume that shows your clearance level and a good number to reach you so recruiters who are looking for cleared candidates can find you quicker when they use the search filters and have a way (besides the messaging system) to contact you. Yall...flabbergasted today from the 15 second call I had with a #jobseeker at the designated time that they chose utilizing my calendly. Actual summary of call- Me: "Hi x, this is Nathanael Young with Leidos QTC Health Services calling you to discuss the blank role located in blank that you applied for last week." Candidate: "** Loud Background noise** I'm sorry who?" Me: Repeated line... Candidate: "*Loud background noise* K...well I just got to the gym so..*awkward silence*...I mean I can step out but thats inconvenient, how about you call me in like 2 hours". Me:....I'm confused...you picked this time was there a mistake with scheduling app? Candidate: "No, but I'm at the gym, call me in an hour and a half." Me: "Dont worry about it, enjoy the gym" **Hangup** I swear actual conversation today....like YOU picked the time and said to call you then!😡 Like make it make sense. 🥲 🫠🤯 #recruiterlife #recruiterinsight #interviewstory #shocked
