#customerservice #workethics #values My flight out of Mumbai was delayed by 6 hours. Naturally, it caused problems like any such delay does. However, once we boarded, the pilot took almost 5 minutes to explain why the delay happened. It seems, Lufthansa flies pilots and crew for this particular aircraft from Frankfurt to Munich previous day. But due to thunderstorms and bad weather, flight's got cancelled, and they couldn't send the crew on time, hence the delay. I liked the earnestness and sincerity with which the pilot explained the situation and the genuine regret. Good lesson: Be honest and transparent with the customer at all times, even more in a problematic situation.
