“Even though our working relationship was weird because we were both consultants for the same client, and he was my manager on that project, it worked really well primarily because of Tim. Tim was the engineering manager for a team of nine or ten developers. He also managed a couple of QAs and handled POs and business requirements. He did all that in a way that no one else could. To that point, more than one year after he left us, we still miss him on our team. He is excellent with people and even better with technology; he is a Simpsons fan and a wonderful friend. I wouldn't think twice about working with him again (and I hope I will have the chance).”

Technovation is an international program that teaches young girls how to conceptualize, design, and develop a mobile app that solves a problem in their community. The program teaches computer science, entrepreneurial, and problem-solving skills, and encourages the girls to get excited about careers in STEM fields. I worked with 4 teams of sixth, seventh, and eighth-grade girls.

I worked with the Neighborhood Development Center to develop a strategy for improving the navigability of the Midtown Global Market. We discussed ways for making SalesForce the central source of truth for their data, options for maps, choosing to either develop a custom-built solution or purchase one off the shelf, and options for resources for executing the solution.

I worked with a team of volunteer developers to put together a map of resources for the Minnesota State Horticultural Society. With this new map, users can easily find community gardens and other gardening resources through a searchable interface.
