“I first met Tim in his freshman year at College of DuPage. We were taking a class Network Plus program. Instantly, we became friends. While taking class together, Tim learned that I worked at a non-profit and I often asked questions in class about my work situation. Tim being a hardware specialist and knowing that I work with many different kinds of hardware, offered to help me with my questions. I would call or email him with questions. Our computers ranged from window 95 to XP, customs, Dell, Gateway, and Compaq. A lot of our technology was donated to us and is thus old. Some of our technology is no longer supported, which makes it very difficult to maintain and troubleshoot. I cannot think of a single incident that Tim did not have the answer. Plus, he did this to both serve his community and to gain valuable troubleshooting experience. I should add that, on the interpersonal side, Tim is a wonderful person and a good communicator who gets along with well with people, even with heavy deadline pressures. He gets along very well with other classmate, while working on team projects and lab work. I certainly think he has a bright future ahead of him in the computer field.”
