Dealing with irate customers is tough. Can emotional intelligence be your secret weapon?
In my experience, this is one of the most important aspects. In many times, if you’re working with a mid-level client, they may be getting extra stress put on them from their higher-ups. While in most cases, it’s not acceptable to deal with unprofessional clients or ones that are irate. It’s always good to understand that in many cases they are put between a rock and a hard place. There might be goals that they’re being held to that may not have been properly communicated and it’s important to get everybody on the same page as to the Northstar of any engagement. If you can build a more personal relationship with your client that can also help the cause.

You're facing resistance from clients on operational changes. How do you navigate their pushback effectively?
Getting "buy in" from senior leadership is often not a nice-to-have but a need-to-have, especially when communicating certain types of operational changes that directly impact budgets and fees. You can spin your wheels with the day-to-day client contacts, but often times they either do not have the power/influence to impact change or they are the reason why a change is needed (maybe they are held captive to the operational issues needed to be addressed). However, if they are onboard, they can help float any updates internally. Secondly, being able to quantify the benefits in terms of dollars saved is a big motivator as well. Even if what is saved is "time", you can usually quantify that in terms of billable hours or opportunity cost.

How can you find lead generation software that offers customizable lead capture forms?
For any campaign driving lead generation based activities you need to have something of value that you’re using as an incentive to capture leads. leverage things like Gartner reports, data sheets, webinars, etc. to better your lead volume. In my experience your lead volume will go way down if you’re not offering some type of incentive that is to your industry that your customers would find valuable, especially if you’re doing lead gen hosting on third-party sites. If on your own site, make sure the customer journey is ideal for collecting leads and doesn’t require too many steps in the process or overly large lead forms.
