This investment is part of a larger $1 billion Puerto Rico Energy Resilience Fund, showcasing the nation's monumental commitment to renewable energy. The implementation of solar panels at homes is one of the crucial steps towards Puerto Rico's ambitious transition towards 100% renewable energy by 2050, a transition outlined in the 2017 Act 17 policy.
