In just 20 days, I led a fully-remote team of AmFam employees in a speculative design call for submissions from the United Nations, simultaneously proving to leadership that design and foresight methodologies could be developed within the current workforce, and promoting new approaches to advance international conflict prevention and cultivate peacebuilding.
Our semi-finalist submission won AmFam Group recognition from the Design Futures Initiative.

Our semi-finalist submission won AmFam Group recognition from the Design Futures Initiative.
The UN call for submissions requested a speculative design piece that interpreted and presented a vision of what peacebuilding could be, based on the history of the UN’s actions, its current peace efforts, and imagined futures. Centering around three scenarios twenty years in the future, our submission included conceptual product and experience design to mitigate risk and unlock opportunity in 2040.
