The day provides coaching, practical employment advice and exposure to a range of employers while practicing networking, group assessment, teamwork, presentation and interview skills. Students receive 1:1 pre and post interview advice and get the chance to sit in the seat of the interviewer too. Full day workshop designed to support young people who are transitioning from education to employment. The day provides coaching, practical employment advice and exposure to a range of employers while practicing networking, group assessment, teamwork, presentation and interview skills. Students receive 1:1 pre and post interview advice and get the chance to sit in the seat of the interviewer too. They leave knowing more about themselves, about jobs in different industries and within companies, and build contacts with peers and employers. Companies whose hiring managers engage say they change perceptions of young people and improve recruitment processes and interactions. A valuable day all round.
