ALL ABOUT WOMEN'S GOLF! We are looking for companies, designers, creators, manufacturers and distributors in the golf industry who want to promote their products to thousands of women who play golf. According to the National Golf Foundation, from 2020 to 2022, more than 800,000 women in America took up the sport, bringing the total to 6.4 million female golfers. While the number of female golfers rose about 15 percent, the male golf pool increased by just 2 percent during that same time frame. In 2019-2020, the number of women golfers was 22% of the industry players, and in 2021, that number rose to 25% and today has reached almost 33%. Between 2014 and 2021, female golfers' spending on golf goods surged by more than 66%. Experts say the numbers are considerably higher now with no signs of slowing. Young girls are learning to play at increasing rates, while women in their 50s and 60s are taking up the game for the first time. My goal is to continue growing the game for women with the LPGA Amateur Golf Association—Myrtle Beach. My greater goal is to connect with creators, designers, manufacturers and distributors of equipment, apparel, and accessories to promote your products to thousands of women golfers who live and play in the Myrtle Beach area and the millions of women who visit. Myrtle Beach is the golf capital of the world, with 17.6 million visitors in 2023. As per the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, visitors spent $10.1 billion on retail trade, and of that, $59.6 million was spent playing golf. I am working on a project that will bring women from all over the U.S. together and captivate them with all the good things in golf. It is an honor to be in included in the following article in Triathlete Magazine. They have always given Atreyu Running Company consideration when engaging their audience with options, and I am grateful for that. It is something that means so much to me. There is some subtle beauty that I am proud about nested within the article. I have been trying to reinforce the idea of a "tuning" shoe into the marketplace with our Base Model and it is really nice to see it in print beyond the Atreyu site. Too often traditional, old-school, low-stack, lightweight shoes get lumped into a "10k shoe" or a "short distance speed shoe", but the reality is that there is a huge void to fill in the daily trainer subcategory as stacks get higher. While high stack (often carbon plated) running shoes featuring best-in-class foam technology pushes athletes forward faster/longer, I still believe that there is a growing necessity to hone in on the fundamentals to reset the stride within a weekly training arc. These low stack shoes with augmented ground feel have naturally inherited a new role. Thus, an entirely new category of "tuning" shoe should be treated with ongoing consideration. Bottom line: Education within the marketplace is paramount. It is up to all brands to ensure the runner is taken care of. ...even as we push performance boundaries on the top end, balance is key. There are reasons why GOLFZON has been dominating the “screen golf” (indoor golf) industry in Korea ever since such industry was created by…GOLFZON nearly 25 years ago. Korean consumers are very difficult to please, to begin with, and have the tendency to quickly change the way they spend their disposable income. While the number of rounds played in green grass courses and $$ spent on golf equipment/accessories are trending down in Korea today (compared to 2021/22) indoor golf has experienced no such setback. It’s tough to be an industry leader for this long anywhere, anytime, in any industry. Once you play a round on a GOLFZON system, it is tough to go back. It’s just that sticky.

Golf, like life, is full of ups and downs. It teaches patience, perseverance, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude despite challenges. These lessons mirror many spiritual teachings, where the journey is as significant as the destination. When I’m out on the course, especially when playing alone or in smaller groups, I truly connect with nature. The experience of being immersed in the serene environment, feeling the rhythm of my body and mind in sync, creates a zen-like moment. I had one of the world’s best golf and mindset coaches on my podcast. Here’s a few things I learned: 1.
