Most companies have a #1 on their bucket list. And no it's not funding. Well yeah, that too. But right now we're talking about winning an enterprise account. Your first enterprise deal. If you're in the same boat, try these GTM tactics to win your #1 Enterprise deal 1. Run outbound to dream accounts. Blend it with ABM/direct mail. 2. Join marketplaces and communities. Decision-makers are often active here. 3. Build an authentic personal brand. Invite your champions to a collab post or a podcast. 4. Go all in on in-person events. Invite people over a coffee or buy them lunch. Create a better relationship by actively engaging. Don't resort to a single play. Try diversifying if possible. And measure long-term (>6 months) and short-term (monthly) metrics to see which one outperforms. What else would you add here?

The new LMC’s taxonomy is designed specifically for local news, providing more granular segments than existing taxonomies, expanding brand safety and suitability footprint. The taxonomy launches with ten high-demand categories and is supported by a variety of formats, including display, video, native, and CTV. Stop falling in love with channels and tactics. Email, social, intent, gifting, search, targeted FB ads, ABM, roadshows, events, virtual events, webinars...any given one is sometimes the savior, other times declared "dead." If you walk around saying "email and webinars are dead, no one cares about them anymore", sorry, but you are not a serious marketer. Example one: many people believe "everything is about intent signals now." In a discussion yesterday, intent sounded suspiciously like lead scoring, ie judging the readiness of a prospect based on interpretation of their online and offline behavior. Combined with ABM, which sounds suspiciously like target account marketing. (Intent and ABM are great tactics if they work for your audience, BTW, and there are fantastic software solutions for both). Example two: if we're marketing to SaaS, we're way to cool to use the word "webinar" anymore, because it sounds like a middle-aged guy with a combover. So we call it a "virtual summit" instead and pretend we've invented something new. But there are audiences that love webinars and don't see them as dated as all. You won't get very far marketing to them by despising the things they like, believe me. So stop falling in love with channels and tactics. Start falling in love with your audiences. Learn to love the tactics and channels they love. Bring your own spin to it, of course...and sometimes you can differentiate by introducing tactics that are new to them. Learning to love new audiences is the only sustainable competitive advantage you have as a marketer. Everything else is noise.
