Provide strategic insight and direction as board member of Portland-area nonprofit whose mission is to promote youth development and leadership through adventure, healthy communities and living sustainably. Also serve as Development Committee Member and Governance Committee Member to assist in creation of fundraising plan to sustain organization as well as provide solid governance to lead Rippleffect into the future.

Serve as long-standing and dedicated member of the board of directors of Portland-area nonprofit which empowers members of refugee and immigrant communities, through education and counseling, to invest in themselves to build financial stability, careers, businesses and wealth. President (2015 - Present) - provide strategic leadership to the Portland Chamber and its membership, advocating for and supporting economic development initiatives and tackling overall business and workforce challenges within community Chair Eggs and Issues Committee (2010 - 2013) - coordinated monthly breakfast speaker series highlighting business and community leaders for 300-500+ attendees. Served on board of directors for Portland nonprofit which provides grief support services that encourage the safe expression of grief and loss and fosters each individual’s resilience and emotional well-being. Served in role of President of the Board from 2011-2012 during the milestone celebration of the organizations 25th year of service. Prior to serving on the board of directors, I was a weekly volunteer grief facilitator at the Center for Grieving from 2004 - 2007.
