📢 Call for Proposals: You are invited to submit a proposal for a breakout session at our 10th Annual Learning Resources TutorTIPS Symposium at Miami Dade College (MDC), Homestead Campus. This year’s theme, "Innovation through Adaptation," invites tutors, faculty, and staff at South Florida colleges and universities to share how they've adapted and innovated to support student success.   Potential topics include: • Adapting to our students' different learning styles • Multimodality & Universal Design for Learning (UDL) • Design Thinking in academic support • Learning from setbacks and fostering resilience • Navigating emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI) • Post-pandemic teaching strategies 📅 Submission Deadline: October 18, 2024 🗓 Symposium Date: December 18, 2024   All sessions will be 45-minute in-person breakouts. You haven’t seen this happen yet, but this is a new day in a new month. Abundance of Light is set to shift things to turn in your favor. If you get your hopes up and start expecting God’s goodness, you’re going to come into a bigger life, to a new level of your destiny. You may be in a limited environment right now that you can’t change. If you see lack, dysfunction, struggle, and addictions on a regular basis, don't get tired, the table is about to turn to your satisfaction. Brethren, the key is to not let the environment get in you. Don’t let mediocrity become the norm. Don’t live with a small mentality. Don’t water down your dreams, accepting less when you know God has created you for more. Start believing bigger. Start taking steps of faith, stretching, growing, and learning.
