In this position, I served as the sole student representative on a committee aimed at increasing the legal and educational success of UCI Law students. This year, our committee created and executed a workshop series aimed at professional identity development in the law school context.

I was instrumental in creating the Concerned Students of Middlebury and helped work to establish the group as an official Middlebury College student organization. During my tenure, I authored our constitution and bylaws, instituted our official website, formulated our budget, engineered a system of representation for students of marginalized backgrounds to major college entities, constructed our first major proposal to the Senior Leadership Group of the College, and represented our organization to the College. I also worked with my co-executive board members to support our membership and ameliorate our campus community. I served as President of the Middlebury College Activities Board from 2021-2022. In this capacity, I was responsible for overseeing the organization board of programming and marketing executives, managing our approximately $500,000 annual budget to allocate for social needs of the campus community, and collaborating with campus partners to ensure representation for all in our programming.

I was elected by my peers to represent approximately one-fifth of the students at Middlebury College in the Student Government Association. I worked with other senators, administrators, professors, and students to encourage various changes at the College (assisting in reforming the structure of the SGA, creating a centralized location for online information for the individuals I represented, encouraging increased access to information for students registering for classes, working with student organizers to encourage grading reform, and more). In my senior year, I was elected to represent the entirety of the student body, the staff, and faculty as the Co-Chair of Community Council, when I facilitated conversations regarding institutional longevity and oversaw a council of 19 people. In this role, I reformed the PALANA Constitution to ensure the success of the new social house by creating additional structure (establishing committees aimed at community engagement, reaffirming the organization's values towards racial equality on campus, and more). I also created our organization's first extensive bylaw document and instituted the PALANA website.
