My research interests included web design and the effects of various types of in-game advertising on player engagement, which resulted in my master's thesis, "Grinding the Axe Body Spray: Linking Gamer Experience and Brand Recall in Guitar Hero III."
My findings included... absolutely nothing. That likely explains why the company responsible for the in-game advertising in Guitar Hero III closed in 2010. -
