I saw young boys and girls come into a very tough sport and work their way through all of the smiles and tears to become better at their sport, sometimes champions. Even more rewarding was to see them grow in confidence, understand the importance of fitness, and have an adult take a safe interest in their lives helping them to see that they really are capable and strong.
