It is essential to transition to green energy and reduce emissions. It's important to consider diverse viewpoints on the energy mix and projections of oil and gas companies. I tend to agree with Doug Sheridan and their team's comments. While it's true that some people can choose to stop consuming energy or products made from fossil fuels, it's important to consider whether there are viable alternatives available to everyone at the present time. One ongoing energy transition that humanity started over a century ago—from coal to oil—has yet to be completed. In fact, due to rising demand, coal consumption has increased substantially in recent years. Michael Mann and Financial Times, why don't you write about that in your biased, woke interpretations of oil and gas companies' realistic reports?

The modern triumvirate continues to include Government, the Military Industrial Complex which includes most profitably, for the last hundred- and fifty-years, munitions and fossil fuel industries, and the third Billionaire stockholders in the USA and around the world. A triumvirate is a group of three people or groups who share power. In America's early days, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison were a triumvirate — three men whose leadership helped shape America. The prefix tri means "three," so it makes sense that triumvirate refers to a group of three. In this case, the three in question are powerful men or groups who share authority. The word comes to us from ancient Rome, where two groups of three important men shared power over the Roman Republic. The First Triumvirate was made up of Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great, and Marcus Licinius Crassus, and the Second Triumvirate consisted of Marc Antony, Lepidus, and Octavian. While reading the SBTi Net Zero Standard version 1.2, a line jumped out at me: "Business leaders need a robust, science-based framework for setting net-zero targets. Otherwise, they risk continuing to invest in business models that are inconsistent with the goals of the Paris Agreement."
