How can you make a successful career transition into Strategy?
strategy is often a euphemism for sales support. as a result, you will find yourself in a sales organization. sales organizations are led by folks who only value quarterly results and have little patience for anything strategic. advice: ask very pointed questions about the role and where it sits in the organization. be very up front about the duties you expect to be primary for the role and see if they match up. also, don't expect a recruiter or hr person to appreciate this massive nuance. do your homework.
