Design education faces significant challenges. Increasingly, design problems focus less on discrete artifacts for communication and manufacture and more on a diverse range of designed processes, services, systems, and communities. As the power of design receives greater attention from industry, government, and society, many new opportunities emerge. Designers need a different kind of education to be able to address these issues. -

What Are Wireframe Annotations and Why Use Them?
Balsamiq
Wireframe annotations aim to make understanding how and why something on the screen should work as clear as possible to anyone viewing your wireframes without needing a prototype. Prototypes are useful but do not include all the information needed for developers.

Intro to Information Architecture
Skillshare
Have you ever visited a website or used an app that looked beautiful, but couldn’t find the content you were looking for? Or you tried to do something and you couldn’t complete it because the steps were confusing? That’s the structure of an app or website, called Information Architecture. It is how people get around screens and form a model in their heads about how the site or app is organized.

The event was hosted by Cooper, a local design and strategy firm, and sponsored in part by the Service Design Network's San Francisco chapter (SDNSF).
Eight teams each took a big idea, brainstormed it, researched it, prototyped it, and bodystormed their ideas into a new service design.…60+ designers spent 48 hours in San Francisco over a weekend, learning and putting into practice their Service Design skills, as part of a 100+ city Global Service Jam: "Just 48 Hours to Change the World." Eight teams each took a big idea, brainstormed it, researched it, prototyped it, and bodystormed their ideas into a new service design. The focus was on learning new skills, to develop many prototypes along the way, and to show, not tell, the service design during the final judging phase.Other creators -
