As a student I conducted service projects that benefit needy families, such as donating Christmas gifts to needy children through the Giving Tree Project.     Member of the Human Services Club at Stevenson University, helping to sponsor charitable, educational, and social activities. As a student I conducted service projects that benefit needy families, such as donating Christmas gifts to needy children through the Giving Tree Project. During my time as a member, I had opportunities to attend events and listen to speakers, such as admissions officers from graduate programs in counseling and social work, and representatives from non-profit organizations like Catholic Charities. Social gatherings have included parties as well as recreational field trips.

    A Stevenson University club helping to raise money for the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society. American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities such as Relay for Life.

    As a volunteer in 2015, I coordinated a team for the event while raising money to help the fight against cancer.
