Member elected. Attended all board meetings, many lobby days on Capitol Hill, and all strategy sessions. I represented the voice of small business owners and customers. A prefect opportunity to share my experience and help the solar industry!

This Board will provide the City Council a venue by which one board is responsible for overseeing the development process in a comprehensive manner, as well as providing the means for participation and input from a large and diverse Council appointed body. The duties and powers of this board, except as to appeals, shall be in an advisory capacity only.

The Fire Safety Advisory Board shall hear appeals to decisions of the Fire Marshal and submit findings to the city council. The board may submit to the Fire Marshal recommendations on matters pertaining to the Fire Code or ordinance provisions and amendments. * To make, enter into, carry out, and enforce any contract, agreement, or transaction which the Board of Directors believes to be in the best interest and for the benefit of its members, and to engage in other causes and activities that will promote and safeguard the interests of the roofing industry in the state of Arizona.
* To foster constructive and progressive legislation, especially as it may affect the roofing contractor, suppliers, related trades and other services involved in the roofing industry in the state of Arizona.
