I am a partner with Eversheds Sutherland's Energy & Infrastructure Group and the Head of Federal Energy Regulatory Team. I advise electric utilities, independent power producers, power marketers, industrial customers, private equity firms and other entities in connection with regulatory, enforcement and compliance matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state regulatory commissions, and federal and state courts. I also advise on regulatory issues associated with mergers and acquisitions and asset purchases, and I litigate “open access,” generator interconnection, power purchase agreements, organized market participation and renewable and distributed generation issues at FERC and state regulatory bodies.
I am licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Wisconsin, and also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
