    Launched the Miles for Migraine charity run in San Francisco in 2008. Produced an annual 5/10K run and 2-mile walk to raise awareness on the debilitating effects of migraine and other headache disorders.

    Led all aspects of the race production, focusing heavily on marketing strategies to promote our event. Developed business partnerships, raised sponsorship dollars, recruited volunteers and managed the production and successful execution of the race.

    The Tall Ship Education Academy provided a semester at sea for High School girls to empower them to reach their full potential. The academically rigorous sailing voyages challenged a diverse group of girls to build personal responsibility, interdependence and global awareness. They returned home with the tools to lead productive lives and build strong communities. TSEA was supported by UCSF and received WASC accreditation during its 10 years of operation.

    DuskBuster 5K Run

    Produced an annual 5K run/walk to benefit multiple sclerosis. Led a race committee of 20 volunteers all focused on the marketing, sponsorship, volunteer recruitment and race day production elements of the 5K evening run. This race attracted over 500 participants each year.
