I recently edited a contributed article...and while so much of today's coverage is focused on contributions, a quick reminder: A client that wants you to pitch a blog post that contains numerous explicit references (to said client) might not fully understand what a contributed article is...and it ain't a promotional piece. A contributed article headline can be rewritten by an editor before it’s published. #PR #publicrelations #mediarelations #media

You may have wondered, "how can I get the media to feature my business in a story?" All reporters and producers get a lot of "pitches", but knowing how to make a pitch is the key to getting your business featured. Think about needs of your customer that your business meets, and focus on that, instead of your business, when you're making a pitch.
