You want to record speeches for YouTube videos. How can you make sure your audience stays engaged?
Start with a provocative question that makes them want to hear more. Say your name and ONE credential about yourself. Tell them what you are going to tell them, briefly. Make it a short story. Then tell them what you told them. If it is more than 3-5 minutes, it is probably too long.

How can you create an opening that will leave your audience wanting more?
Stories are powerful. When you tell a story the inflection in your voice varies more - it is more similar to singing. Tone of voice will engage your audience or turn them away. Keep the story short with an impactful ending that the audience wants to hear.
