“Haseena has been a profound mentor and friend to me over the last six years. Haseena and I met during a camp in 2015 where she was my camp counselor, and we formed a strong connection. Soon after, she was preparing to enter as a Masters student at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. We overlapped during part of her time there when I entered Duke as a first-year, and she greatly helped me with transitioning to the university. Haseena is talented, driven, and has built strong expertise in sustainability and DEI. She has served with the United Nations Climate Vulnerable Forum, founded her own organizational change management and corporate responsibility firm, managed programs for the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, and more. Personally, Haseena and I have had many experiences and fun adventures together - busing our way up Morocco a few summers ago, taking a spontaneous road trip from Atlanta to Dallas, and much more. She constantly inspires me with her support, kindness, resilience, and thoughtful perspectives. I would highly recommend Haseena, both from a professional and personal lens.”

Several steps are involved in creating a sustainability report, starting with a materiality assessment to determine which topics should be benchmarked, monitored, and included in the report. The goal of the assessment is to incorporate perspectives from both internal and external stakeholders of the organization to create a materiality matrix that maps the importance of various topics in a visual, user-friendly, and quantitative manner. -
