SAYES matches local youth with senior citizens to help with a variety of tasks such as grocery shopping and lawn care.

Proud representative of the youth in District Six of the City of New Berlin. Founding member of the special advisory board to the City Council. Served on the executive committee for four years and as Chairperson for three years. Together, we secured city funding for a skate park, several city-wide dances, the publication of the first ever activity guide for the city, and more.

In 1997 1,056,320 packs of cigarettes were sold to youth under 18 in Waukesha County alone.  Our mission is to improve the health of Waukesha County residents of all ages by reducing tobacco use through prevention efforts, intervention education, and community empowerment. WCTFC monitored tobacco advertisements within one mile of primary/secondary schools, partnered with convenience stores and gas stations on a campaign to eliminate illegal sales of cigarettes to underage minors, and promoted… Show more
