The Speed to Market Accelerator (STMA) members take a team approach to providing services that help companies accelerate the commercialization process. NorTech, which developed the concept for the project, assesses a company’s needs and uses its expertise to deliver services from other STMA partners. Lorain Community College provides workforce development guidance by focusing on talent and career planning. Much of the talent comes from the internship program managed by Magnet, which also brings its manufacturing and technical expertise to the table. JumpStart completes the team by providing access to capital and investors.
Using the resources of these four partners, the Northeast Ohio Speed to Market Accelerator has helped 39 different companies, creating 90 jobs and $5 million in payroll.
