After failing the initial attempt to replace the district's Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) levy in February 2020, the situation worsened as the novel coronavirus COVID-19 caused Washington State to close all schools statewide.

While passing a levy campaign after a failure is no small feat during normal circumstances, this campaign made history, as Woodland Public Schools is one of the first school districts in the history of the United States of America to pass a levy campaign in the middle of the worst global pandemic in more than a century and the largest economic catastrophe to face the country since The Great Depression.

• Implemented Strategic Communications - By implementing innovative communication strategies designed to maximize exposure of the heroic efforts made by district staff to continue providing services to the community and educational opportunities to students, an eight-week informational campaign featuring regular content led to the district passing its replacement levy and securing about $16,000,000 in funding for the following three years of operation.

• Full Branding Identity Development - Following the levy's initial failure in February, there was NO presence for the Citizens Committee. An entire identity was developed in very short order (days, not weeks or months) including feel, logo, typefaces, mottos, phrasing, social media presence, and more.

• Collateral Development - Yard signs, business signs, billboards, stickers, electronic logos, social media banners, social media frames, and more were developed in rapid succession (again, days, not weeks) to accommodate the immediate need to get the word out to the community, quickly. Show less

* Manage the needs and services of a neighborhood of 87 individual homes
* Assist in preparation of budgets for the neighborhood association
* Serve in Neighborhood Watch to increase safety and security of the neighborhood
* Observe and enforce neighborhood restrictions
* Provide assistance with neighbors in architecture planning and other needs, as necessary
