Last week, we shared our second annual Responsible Business Practices Report, highlighting Meta’s efforts to maximize the positive and minimize the negative impacts of our business on society. Exciting news! Yesterday we launched Meta Llama 3, the next generation of our open source large language model, as well as a variety of updates to Meta AI, our AI assistant. Meta AI is now available to help get things done (like planning a high school graduation party), learn, create, and connect with others and it can be accessed across all of our apps. We also released updated responsibility resources, including a Llama 3 model card, an updated Responsible Use Guide, and new responsibility tools that we’ve released as part of our open trust and safety project, Purple Llama. Today, Adobe announced the latest online inflation data from the Adobe Digital Price Index (DPI), powered by Adobe Analytics. In August 2024, online prices fell 4.4%year-over-year (YoY) and 0.3% month-over-month (MoM). Yesterday at #NewFronts, we brought our partners into the vibrant and joyful world of Snapchat to show why our community of over 800 million monthly active users and more than 75% of 13 to 34 year-olds in over 20 countries come to our platform every day to communicate directly with their close friends. We showcased how More Snapchat means More Results and More Opportunities for our partners and announced several solutions and programs for our partners to get in front of Snapchat’s unique and growing audience. 1. AR Extensions: this new offering will enable advertisers to integrate AR Lenses and Filters directly into all of our ad formats, including Dynamic Product Ads, Snap Ads, Collection Ads, Commercials, and Spotlight Ads.   2. AR + ML Tools: we’ve been investing in Machine Learning and automation to make AR creation faster and easier, reducing the time it takes for brands to turn 2D product catalogs into try-on experiences. And, brands can now create their own custom ML Face Effects to use in their AR ads on Snapchat, and by leveraging generative AI, it’s much faster and easier to create. 3. Sports Partnerships: we’re continuing our longstanding partnerships with the NFL, NBA, and WNBA to provide official content for our community. And, we’re partnering with NBCUniversal to develop 5 partnered AR experiences for the Paris 2024 Olympics. 4. Snap Nation: we’re evolving our partnership with Live Nation to bring Snapchatters exclusive BTS content from their favorite artists and show live music experiences, helping fans connect with artists and collectively experience the energy of live shows. 5. 523 x Ensemble: we’re taking our creator accelerator program to the next level by partnering with Issa Rae and her branded entertainment company Ensemble, to help brands partner and produce content with 523 participants. Between all of the surprise and delight moments throughout our presentation, to the Snapchat-branded cabs we had circling NYC, to a stellar performance by singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, I loved celebrating with our team and partners last night.
