Diane earned her B.S. in Communication from Eastern Michigan University where she cultivated her passion for forming meaningful connections through the competitive public speaking program, Forensics. Post graduation Diane joined City Year for the opportunity to transfer social justice speech topics into action. After serving for two years, Diane joined the City Year Detroit staff as an Impact Manager to guide AmeriCorps members through their own service journey. With a master's in human resource management from Colorado State University, and nearly 15 years with City Year Detroit, Diane's work focuses on bringing people and resources together in a way that enables her team to make powerful, positive, and lasting change.
