Peace Corps - PC Medlink
As part of the National Civic Hacking Weekend I participated in Atlanta's Random Hacks of Kindness weekend designing the user experience for a Peace Corps Challenge to design a simple order form for Peace Corps Volunteers in the field to order personal medical supplies.
In 24 hours our team designed and implemented a live application that allowed Peace Corps volunteers to submit a request for personal medical supplies via SMS, mobile web browser and desktop browser. In 24 hours our team designed and implemented a live application that allowed Peace Corps volunteers to submit a request for personal medical supplies via SMS, mobile web browser and desktop browser. The application won 1st prize in the Hackathon competition.
I continue to volunteer my time and skills along with many of the original team members to help the Peace Corps support the continuing implementation and deployment of the application across the globe.
