  • 2021 Hispanic Heritage Community Scholarship

    -

    I am leading a project for the first annual Hispanic Heritage Community Scholarship for the Mexican Chamber of Commerce Jacksonville. We are awarding 10 Hispanic students in the Jacksonville area scholarships to pursue higher education and grow with in the community. Local businesses are participating to invest in our community and our youth.

  • UNF Hispanic Heritage Month Committee

    I am currently on the committee for the 2021 Hispanic Heritage Month at the University of North Florida. I am collaborating with other community leaders to set up a set of events and workshops that showcase the Hispanic community and culture.

  • Taste the World

    -

    “Taste the World” is the annual fundraiser for GlobalJax in which guests can taste food and wine from different countries and see beautiful live performances from groups of diverse cultures. I was in charge of recruiting volunteers and managing the performers for the night. Helped fundraise over $6000!

    As a member of SAID, I am in charge of the first diversity week at UNF. I oversee the planning of all the events during the week but most importantly the Diversity Gala.
