  • Identifying relationship between entities ( Text mining )

    By using the entity recognition system in spacy, relationship between the entities was identified from the newspaper articles.
    The articles were extracted using Reuters corpus which contains more than ten thousand newspaper articles. After identifying the frequency count of each word in the document, pointwise mutual information ( PMI ) technique was used to identify a relationship between the entities.

To ensure the results are not biased, the data was randomly sampled and vif ( variance inflation factor ) a technique was executed to avoid the issue of multicollinearity

  • iTunes App Reviews Sentiment Analysis

    Scrapped iTunes app reviews dataset from the iTunes web page.
    Designed and implemented an end to end Machine learning pipeline that allows the data scientist to train [ Naive Bayes, SVM, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Decision Tree ] classification models and evaluate these results on a whole new set of data.

    It is a command line .py file that allows the programmer to save the trained models into the pickle dump and load it at the time of evaluation.

  • Identifying duplicate bug reports

    Developed a web-automated service using python selenium to enable users to improve and strengthen their connection network on LinkedIn.
    Additionally, it will facilitate the user to select their target network group, example: for me I would be targeting individuals hiring Data Scientists; The bot will generate a customized message template for each connection request.

    Technical details: Trained various classification models and choose random forest classifier as it gave us the best results across various performance metrics like accuracy, recall f1-score.
    Further since problem of false negative would be super impactful, we performed SMOTE analysis to balance the data that we have and converted the multiclass classification problem to that of a binary classification varied the threshold to achieve a tradeoff between false positives and false negatives.

    Created an employee-employer match tool that finds a company-role match for a user; the match is based upon the company’s behavioural and technical requirements.

    Identified and analysed companies performance across different metrics like work-life balance, career opportunities, senior management ratings and many more.

    Presented the results to a user in form Tableau dashboards representing the pros and cons of each company depicting its strength and weakness.

  • Database Development of a Car rental company using Oracle SQL

  • Airline Reservation System

    The project was developed in Java. The user was asked to enter a source and destination from the list of locations available along with his/her personal information. On the basis of the type of trip, date of travel and class of flight selected by the user, a particular fare along with the ticket was generated.

  • Aqua Bot

    A bot that could move around in water was developed to be used as a water crane to serve the purpose of cleaning the pool. The motion of the bot was made possible using the CPU fans and the DPDT switches. A motor and a DPDT switch was used for the pick up and drop movement of the arm that enabled the bot to cleanup the garbage floating on the water.

  • Real time Inventory Management

    The project was a simulation of inventory management as an IOT application. If the amount of stock was less than a particular threshold value an alert message was sent to the inventory manager indicating a need for additional stock.
