    Took a week and headed to New Orleans and help rebuild a home that was ravished by Hurricane Katrina, and still remained in shambles over 5 years later. We spent 10 hours a day tearing down walls, re-insulating, retiling, and hanging drywall.A week after we left, the resident was able to move back into the home that he had been forced out of for far too long. The experience was grueling, yet rewarding at the same time, as I was able to give back and find my passion for helping the…
