“I had a chance to partner with Christine to lead teams working on conversations, profiles, and relationships at Twitter. Christine is an impressive team builder. We worked on figuring out strategy/alignment for five different teams and getting them into a good place. More specifically, Christine drove a cross-functional all-hands bringing the teams together and organized an offsite where we discussed how we work, long-term strategy, and prioritization. These events started gluing different functions and pillars within the org. She is an exceptional co-founder. She is an empowering collaborator and a compassionate leader. She can evaluate tricky situations easily. She approaches alignment problems in people first, which eases all the technicalities down the road. She also had a strong reputation across the company. I have seen several instances where just Christine being part of the co-founder team eased the communication and alignment with our partners. Christine is a caring, sharing, and empowering manager. Even though there have been several new hires and branch-ins (in her Product team) when we started working together, their engagement, onboarding, and growth within the quarter have been impressive. Christine empowers her reports, asks them to develop their viewpoints, and gives them the podium to present. She appropriately pushes them to be bold in changing direction in roadmaps or how they work (e.g., co-founder mentality and data-driven opportunity sizing and prioritization). Her endeavors as a manager stretch the pm team's skillsets and get them out of their comfort zone. PMs have grown and transformed under her leadership in a quarter. She is a servant leader. Even if it has a risk to her image or recognition, she does not hesitate to back the team or push back partners or execs. I think her team loved her.”
