I am reaching out for National Navigation Roundtable to see if we can increase responses from patient navigation programs in Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Nevada, Arkansas, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Louisiana, Colorado, Hawaii, and Guam. I recognize this is a very busy time but would ask if you can please share this around your networks and ask them to please complete this if you have not already? The American Cancer Society National Navigation Roundtable (ACS NNRT) is distributing a brief survey to gather feedback regarding current experiences with new billing codes developed by CMS/PIN Codes and AMA/CPT Codes to support the reimbursement of patient navigation services. It includes a Request For Information asking for feedback on the PIN codes (see page 213). Your responses will help develop recommendations to improve the design and uptake of these codes. The survey is designed for feedback from institutions both implementing and not implementing the new codes. Feel free to share the survey with other institutions or organizations operating patient navigation programs. All surveys are due by Tuesday, August 6th, 2024. As of April 30, Tricare lowers the age of #coloncancer #screenings from 50 to 45. The change allows beneficiaries at average risk of colon cancer to receive covered screening exams and lab tests five years earlier due to the recent increased incidence of #colorectalcancer in younger Americans. Tricare now covers the following tests and treatment exams for average-risk patients starting at age 45: * Fecal occult blood testing every 12 months * Fecal immunochemical testing every 12 months * FDA-approved stool DNA tests (e.g. Cologuard) every one to three years * Flexible sigmoidoscopy every five years * Computed tomographic colonography every five years * Conventional optical #colonoscopy once every 10 years * Flexible sigmoidoscopy with fecal immunochemical testing every 10 years https://lnkd.in/eP787XDu
