What do you do if a potential customer rejects your sales pitch?
A rejection may have nothing to do with you, your product/service, or your pitch. You have no idea what your prospect is dealing on any given day. Most importantly, NEVER EVER give up - which I all to often see prospectors do if there is no traction after a few calls and emails. Rather learn more about the company, their product/service, and their market. Then send them drips of news and other valuable information sprinkled in between a follow up call or email. It is amazing how many times I have received a call from a "hopeless" prospect long after my first engagement and now having them ask me for help. There is only one way a prospect leaves my CRM and that is feet first ;-)
