  • Stock Predication

    The change in stock values of 9 different companies for 50 days was used to train a random forest based regression algorithm to predict the value of the stocks for the 10th company. The values were read as ‘Pandas’ data frame, which was also used for pre-processing and cleaning data. Scikit-learn library was used for regression.

  • K Nearest Neighbor Classifier

    Implemented a K-Nearest neighbor classifier by hard-coding the nearest neighbor classification algorithm in MATLAB, the given data were categorized into categories using unsupervised learning method known as K-means clustering.

  • Lung capacity analysis using acoustic signal

    Developed a proof of concept software in MATLAB which analyses the acoustic/speech signals of a person's exhalation and estimates the lung capacity of the person, the software was developed using signal processing toolbox in Matlab.

  • Statistical Analysis of Correlation Between Cancer and Life span

    Statistical analysis of the data to study the correlation between the cancer severity and the life span of the person was performed in R. Data analysis, statistical inference and visualization of the data was performed using the R-studio environment.

  • Brain Tumor Feature Extraction and Imaging

    Project on Neuro image processing and analysis- Brain and tumor tissue segmentation and feature extraction from Neuro-image database of MRI slices, using image processing techniques with the help of image processing toolbox of Matlab, the image was rendered into a 3D image for visualization.

  • Image Classification using Deep learning

    -

    Testing data with 10 class-label where used to train a convolution neural network based deep learning classification algorithm. OpenCV was used for the image reading and processing while ‘Tensorflow’ deep learning library was used to implement the deep neural network. The whole project was implemented in python.
