Create rules for Job Wrapping in Recruiter

You can create posting rules for Job Wrapping to determine which jobs will be used to fill your job slots based on location, title, industry, function, and seniority.

Jobs that meet your posting rule criteria are prioritized for posting to LinkedIn after your pinned jobs and tagged jobs have been posted.

To create a posting rule:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.

  2. Under Job Promotion Settings, click Posting rules.

  3. Click Create new to the right of Posting rules.

  4. Below What's the rule for? select Promoting jobs into your job slots or excluding jobs from slots.

  5. Under Rule Settings, enter the rule name and the rule's priority number.

    • The rule name will display in your Posting Rules
    • The rule priority number will set the order in which your rules are applied until jobs slots are full
  6. Under Rule settings, select if you'd like to limit the number of slots this rule can use. This applies a limit to how many jobs can be wrapped based on your rule.

  7. Enter the rule criteria for filtering jobs you want to wrap or block from being posted to a job slot. Note: You do not need to use all available criteria. 

    • Enter specific Locations and Titles
    • Select Industries, Functions, and Experience from predefined lists. 
    • Enter Keywords found in the job description. 
  8. Click Save.
