Create a sponsored LinkedIn article or newsletter article using a Company Page post in Campaign Manager

Last updated: 4 months ago

Sponsored LinkedIn articles and newsletter articles are written on LinkedIn and have a LinkedIn URL. You can use your organic Company Page posts to create sponsored articles and newsletter articles.

Important to know

Sponsored newsletter articles currently only support the brand awareness and engagement campaign objectives.

Before creating a sponsored article or newsletter article in Campaign Manager, you can either create a new campaign or use an existing brand awareness, engagement, or lead generation campaign (lead generation is currently not available for newsletter articles). You can also create new ads for existing single image ad campaigns by editing your campaign

To create a sponsored article or newsletter article:

  1. Go to the Set up Ads page in Campaign Manager.

    • New campaign - If you're creating a new campaign, you'll go to the Set up Ads page after selecting your campaign settings.
    • Existing campaign - To add an ad to an existing campaign, you can edit the campaign to go to the Set up Ads page.
  2. Click the Browse existing content button. The Content Library page opens.

  3. Click Company Page and use the search bar to find the required Company Page post.

  4. Select the checkbox to the left of the required article or newsletter article that you’d like to sponsor.

  5. Click Add to campaign in the lower-right corner of the page. The Ads in this campaign page opens.

    • If you selected lead generation as the campaign objective for your sponsored article, click Associate a Lead Gen Form below the ad and complete the Form details section.
    • Click the Ad creative tab to view the default Unlock article call-to-action option.
    • Click the Destination tab to view a preview of the article on LinkedIn Audience Network.
    • In the Lead gen form box, search for and select a previously created form or click Create a new form and complete the required fields.
    • Click Save.
  6. Click Next to review and launch your ad campaign.

  7. Click Launch campaign.

    • Optional: Click Save and Exit to save the campaign as a draft.
