Create an article and newsletter ad using a Company Page post in Campaign Manager

In Campaign Manager, you can use the article and newsletter ad format to sponsor standalone articles or newsletter articles posted natively on your Company Page. 

Important to know

• Sponsored articles only support the brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation objectives.
• Sponsored newsletter articles only support the brand awareness and engagement objectives.
• Direct Sponsored Content doesn’t currently support the article and newsletter ad format. An article or newsletter must be posted organically in order to use the article and newsletter ad format.

Prerequisites

  • Before creating an article or newsletter ad in Campaign Manager, create a new campaign using brand awareness, engagement, or lead generation as the campaign objective (lead generation is currently not available for newsletter articles).
  • Select the article and newsletter ad format during campaign creation.

To create an article and newsletter ad:

  1. Go to the Set up Ads page in Campaign Manager.  

    • New campaign - If you're creating a new campaign, you'll go to the Set up Ads page after selecting your campaign settings.  
  2. Click the Browse existing content button. The Content Library page opens.

  3. Click Company Page and use the search bar to find the required Company Page post. 

  4. Select the checkbox to the left of the required article or newsletter article that you’d like to sponsor.

  5. Click Add to campaign in the lower-right corner of the page. The Ads in this campaign page opens.

    • If you selected lead generation as the campaign objective for your sponsored article, click Associate a Lead Gen Form below the ad and complete the Form details section.
    • Click the Ad creative tab to view the default Unlock article call-to-action option.
    • Click the Destination tab to view a preview of the article on LinkedIn Audience Network.
    • In the Lead gen form box, search for and select a previously created form or click Create a new form and complete the required fields.
    • Click Save.
  6. Click Next to review and launch your ad campaign.

  7. Click Launch campaign.

    • Optional: Click Save and Exit to save the campaign as a draft.
