"She Rises Up" chronicles the remarkable journeys of three women who are working to lift their communities out of poverty through the local business they fought hard to maintain. We’re excited to share that applications for the Illinois Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program’s summer 2024 cohort are now open! 👷 In partnership with the State of Illinois, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is hosting this 14-week training that includes core construction curriculum, hands-on learning at construction sites, and services that support successful transitions into apprenticeship programs.
