Last night was magical. I don’t use the word lightly. The room looked gorgeous and it was lit up to perfection. But it’s not the decor that made the Yachad NJ Gala magical- it was the honorees and hundreds of supporters who came to show their love and dedication to an organization helping many individuals with disabilities in our community. Yachad could not be Yachad without our community. COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING. It was inspiring to see the impact our honorees have made! Honored to share the tribute video created by Yachad celebrating my legacy and years of service to this wonderful organization. It's frankly embarrassing to be the focal point -- but it I am also very proud of the growth I could drive for this important community-based non-profit. https://lnkd.in/eipdrjvj Thank you to over 200+ from the community, friends and family who attended the Gala in November. Collectively you raised over $150,000 to the launch of the Liz Offen Legacy Fund for Yachad. I am blessed in more ways than I can count! These funds will continue the vital work providing programs and services for local individuals with disabilities and their families. https://lnkd.in/eF5uynZ2 Today is Yachad's year-end fundraiser. If you have bandwidth -- join me in donating today -- the work is important reducing social isolation and building a vibrant community for children, teens and adults with challenges and disabilities. My heart is full -- but if you know me -- there is always more to do, and I am asking for your help! Meanwhile, I have some time on my hands (which is weird). Call me and let's go for coffee, lunch or maybe we can start a book club. lol -- not quite sure what's in store next -- so let's brainstorm!
