📊 We’re proud to announce the release of our Within Outcomes Report! Since our inception, we have diligently tracked and monitored patient outcomes, and the results are clear: Within is making a real difference. We're filling an important gap in eating disorder treatment, reaching people who may not have previously been adequately served, and helping them achieve their goals toward recovery. Inclusivity is at the heart of our mission. We are committed to serving those in "treatment deserts"—people without access to specialized care, those balancing life commitments that make navigating traditional treatment difficult, and those who may not feel safe attending in-person programs. This report shows that meeting people where they are is not only possible, but powerful. 💚 The results? Real, lasting change for patients and their families. As we observe #TransgenderAwarenessWeek, it's crucial to recognize the unique mental health challenges faced by trans individuals. Due to social discrimination and stigma, trans people experience higher rates of anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Studies show that more than half of LGBTQIA+ adolescents have been diagnosed with or suspect they have an eating disorder—a reality linked to experiences of discrimination and shame. Mental health support and inclusive, gender-affirming care can make a powerful difference for queer and trans folks. This week and always, we stand with trans individuals in their journey toward visibility, acceptance, and healing. It is essential to create compassionate spaces that validate and empower LGBTQIA+ individuals, and to advocate for access to affirming resources that nurture well-being and recovery. 🏳️⚧️ Learn more about the harmful impacts of discrimination—and the restorative power of community—on the Within blog: https://lnkd.in/ePvTCecE

Within Health reposted this
Reflecting on last week’s Behavioral Health Tech Conference in Phoenix, I’m truly inspired by the progress and passion this community brings to the field. It’s empowering to learn from so many leaders focused on improving the lives of the caregivers who support our client populations. One of the highlights for me was meeting Farid C., Within Health’s Chief Innovation Officer, in person. Farid joined a panel of experts discussing how technology is transforming virtual mental healthcare. His insights resonated deeply with me. He emphasized that telehealth alone isn’t the answer—true care requires a thoughtful clinical setup that combines technology with human empathy and compassion. Farid, Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, Co-Founder, CEO, and Abhilash Patel, Co-Founder at Within Health share that creating a user experience patients genuinely want to engage with is essential. From encouraging patients to join a call to making technology a seamless part of their lives, they stressed that both clients and clinicians deserve a compassionate, connected experience. As Farid aptly put it, “Technology should work extra hard to make people feel closer together.” I’m incredibly proud of the work my colleagues at Within Health are doing to advance this vision. It’s an exciting time for innovation in our field, and I’m grateful to be part of it! #BehavioralHealth #Innovation #MentalHealthTech #WithinHealth

During eating disorder recovery, mindful movement can be a joyful experience and help you connect more deeply to your body in a healthy and healing way. ✨ And just as it’s possible to reassess your relationship with food, you can reassess your relationship with physical activity to find supportive ways to include it in your recovery journey. This month, join us for a special webinar, "Healing Through Movement: Integrating Physical Activity in Eating Disorder Recovery," hosted by registered dietitian Lori Brown. Together, we'll dive into how exercise and movement are often overlooked in eating disorder treatment and learn practical tools for safely weaving movement into a client's care plan. This virtual event is free to attend and provides attendees with 1 CE/CME credit hour! 🗓️ Friday, November 15 ⏰ 12pm-1pm EST 💻 Reserve your spot for free: https://lnkd.in/g_fSjCrC

Following the screening, we will host a Q&A session with the film's co-directors, Tim Farrell and Robyn Hussa Farrell, psychiatrist and executive producer of the film, Dr. Timothy D. Brewerton, and psychiatrist and CEO of Within Health, Dr. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt.
