Introducing the newest member of the Ware River team: Anthony (Tony) Martinez! Tony is a tribal member of the Makah Indian Tribe in Neah Bay, Washington, and is double-majoring in Accounting & Economics at the University of Notre Dame. In addition to learning about small business operations and federal contracting, he will assist with enhancing technical documents and reporting mechanisms. #res2024 was amazing! While attending the conference, I often thought of my 90 year old father, a full blood tribal member of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate and wondered how he would react to so many tribal members under one roof all working for economic independence.
