Go ahead!  Congratulate us 🎉 Nearly two weeks late, she was, but finally arrived is our 8th granddaughter and 9th grandchild. Yep, our Han Solo grandson gets to retain his title as lone male heir - but definitely not the only Jedi in our slightly lopsided universe.  The girls give him a good run for his money - or at least a reason to run on some days. We're  grateful for her safe arrival. She's as adorable as her sisters and we expect her to be joining in the running circles around us soon. Every new addition to our family reminds us that we're never too old to be young with them and that staying in shape financially is just as important.  Financial plans should change with life changes. Even Christmas trees need a retirement plan! According to FoxBusiness, over 20 million live trees were expected to be sold in the US for the 2023 Christmas season. By the end of the week, your tree will be down and, unless it was purchased with root ball intact for after-holiday planting, you'll need a plan to dispose of it. Best way to give your tree the retirement it truly deserves? Try hauling it to Kootenai County Solid Waste Department on Ramsay or Prairie for recycling or take to your local sanitation station.
