It's happening! Teams at Keystone, Northstar, and Heavenly have officially fired up the snowguns, meaning the countdown to opening day is on!

The team at Park City Mountain has been busy installing new snowmaking infrastructure on Another World and Chicane, unlocking more of the mountain earlier than ever before. With temperatures dropping, be on the lookout for the first snowmaking test of the season!

The best bike day of the season is with the High Fives Foundation! Each year through EpicPromise, Northstar welcomes the High Fives and their athletes for a day of private mountain biking, supporting the nonprofit's mission of expanding what is possible in adventure sports for those who have face life-changing injuries. 📽️ : Jordan Drew

Meet Keegan, a fifth year SOS Outreach participant! This summer, Keegan spent his time working at Epic Mountain Gear as part of SOS's Career Development Program. We're proud to partner with SOS on initiatives like the Career Development Program, offering youth the chance to build professional skills and gain real-world experience, providing them with the opportunity to open the door to a career in the outdoor industry.

"One of the things I loved about serving, was being outside with likeminded people, and doing hard things, and having fun. And the ski industry provides all that." Exciting developments ahead at Vail Mountain! Vail Resorts just announced a new partnership with the Town of Vail and East West Partners to develop the West Lionshead area of Vail Mountain into a fourth base village. The new village is anticipated to feature access to the resort's 5,317 acres of legendary terrain, plus new lodging, restaurants, boutiques, and skier services, as well as community benefits such as workforce housing, public spaces, transit, and parking. This is a new era of collaboration between the Town of Vail and Vail Resorts, and the first step toward a new shared vision for the future of Vail. Together, we’ll prioritize the community process to create a new vision and master plan that enhances the resort experience and benefits the community. Meet Rourke, assistant snowmaking manager at Northstar California. With the temperatures dropping, and snowmakers getting ready to start their seasons, you can be part of the team too. Today, the team at Northstar announced the launch of a new Winter Weekend and Holiday childcare program with non-profit early-childhood Waldorf program, Little Gems of the Sierra. Starting this December, this new offering builds on the success of Little Gems' year-round early-childhood education, which opened its doors in the Village at Northstar earlier this year. “We are grateful to partner with Little Gems to provide these essential programs at Northstar,” said Doug Burnett, Director of Base Area Operations at Northstar California Resort. “Initiatives like this are key to building a sustainable, thriving community, and it’s been really inspiring to see the collaboration come to life."
