This role will focus on strengthening our workforce pipeline by building strategic connections within the community and with organizations that support workforce development in the Culpeper and Northern Virginia markets. The goal is to provide individuals—particularly high school and community college students—with the resources, guidance, and opportunities to pursue rewarding careers in healthcare. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, experience in program development, and a proven ability to foster partnerships within the community. Existing relationships with workforce development programs and educational institutions are highly desirable. Experience in grant writing is also a plus. Congratulations to the entire critical care (CCU) staff for receiving the very first team DAISY Award at UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center. A CCU patient wished to attend his son's wedding, but his health was rapidly declining. When the son expressed his desire for his father to witness his wedding, the team rapidly threw a wedding together- decorating the room, organizing the Mayor of Culpeper to officiate, and partnering with Food Services for wedding cupcakes.
