Have you ever wondered the inspiration behind the Dallas Urby pool and courtyard? Designed by BUREAU BAS SMETS, the prismatic pool at Dallas Urby draws inspiration from the naturally formed Grand Prismatic Spring found in Yellowstone National Park, which is the largest hot spring in the United States and is known for its striking red, orange, yellow, green, and blue coloration that matches the spectrum of color seen in a rainbow. The organic shapes from the pool extend from the water to the courtyard surface to create distinct yet integrated areas to lounge, gather by the firepit, and cook out at the BBQs.
